My Story
Hey there! Im Liz; a single mom of three amazing kids (13, 16, and 17), plus 3 cats and one very spoiled dog. Life has definitely been a roller coaster, but every up and down has led me right here.
My story goes way back to when I was a teen working in my aunts optical store. I loved getting to know every customer, hearing their stories, and feeling like part of their lives. Those connections became like family; they supported me through the births of my kids, my divorce, and all the wild turns life brought my way. When my aunt closed her store in 2017, I realized just how much I missed that feeling of connection and belonging. I knew one day I wanted to create that again; but this time for myself.
Ive always been a huge Scentsy fan. As a busy mom (with pets!), I loved that I could have my home smelling amazing without worrying about candles burning. In November 2023, I finally decided to join; and honestly, it;s been one of the best choices Ive made.
Some people told me I couldnt do it; that being on ODSP meant I shouldnt even try. But Im here proving that I can and will build something amazing for my family. Over the past year, Ive met so many wonderful people and found a Scentsy family thats been nothing but supportive and encouraging.
I wont lie it hasnt always been easy. Ive heard more nos than yes, and there were moments I wondered if I should keep going. But Ive learned that anything worth having takes time. Ive started focusing on connection over perfection & really thinking about what my customers would want and thats when things started to grow.
So, why Scentsy? Because it gives me purpose. It lets me build real relationships, create something of my own, and show my kids that no matter what challenges life throws at you, you never give up on your dreams. Im working toward independence, stability, and the kind of life where we dont have to rely on anyone else and Scentsy is helping me get there, one step (and one scent!) at a time.
